Curioso is in search of a PROJECT ORCHESTRATOR with experience leading interior design and interior architecture projects. The ideal Project Orchestrator is all-knowing across every facet of a specific project. They keep a project moving forward within the design studio, owning communication with our clients, consultants, and partners. The provide direction and establish clear next steps for designers, supporting our project teams from all angles.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-8 years of experience in Architecture or Interior Design

  • 4-8 years of experience in project management

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCad, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office (or similar program)

  • Proficiency in consultant coordination from project start to finish

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines

  • Experience in Construction Administration, site visits, problem solving in the field, and project close out

  • Organized, well-spoken, cool under pressure, good communication skills

  • Able to mutli-task, manage progress, and track of project timelines

  • Assertive, Proactive, Self-Sufficient

“NICE TO HAVES”:

  • Knowledge in Sketchup and Enscape 

  • Knowledge in Miro, Asana, or similar applications

  • FF&E experience/interest

  • Knowledge in Design Spec, Specsources, or similar programs

  • Able to jump into presentation programs as well as BIM/CAD software for documentation to assist the project teams

  • Experience with detailing/technical design

RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

  • Checks in with the design teams and design director on a daily basis

  • Works closely with the studio design directors and delegates tasks to project team members

  • Tracks and aligns a project’s progress against the base scope and contract

  • Creates, monitors, and updates project schedules and deadlines throughout the timeline of a project

  • Prepares and gets the ball rolling on presentations and drawings sets throughout the project

  • Liaises with the client; table sets at the beginning of presentations and meetings with agendas and contributes to conversations 

  • Liaises with the external project teams/consultants; coordinates consultants throughout the project phases starting with design development through construction administration to project close out

  • Review project budgets; able to propose VE ideas and solutions without compromising design intent

  • Construction Administration

  • Quality Control/Checks all external deliverables before circulation to the appropriate parties

  • Schedules and participates in internal meetings and design charrettes with the project teams

  • Works closely with FF&E team to keep them informed of project timeline and updates

This is a full-time position that includes excellent health benefits and work-life balance. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Only candidates who meet the qualifications and include work samples will be considered. Curioso Studios are located in Chicago & Mérida, Mexico. Location & remote work are flexible.
